Source problems?

OK, I gotta ask: What exactly is the issue, source wise? I gave sources for basic info and every sentence in the main article. The pages (Dr. Kaoma's resumé, the University of Boston, Political Research Associates, Huffington Post) reciprocally confirm the respective facts given, and I cannot see how they might be seen to violate the Reliable Source Guideline. --Kurt von Hammerstein (talk) 17:49, 15 May 2016 (UTC)

Kapya John Kaoma redirect?

In most other references online, the individual is known as "Kapya John Kaoma." Is a redirect OK with folks? Just a note, I tried doing this and there was a huffle, but not sure if it was procedural, so this request has been updated.Chip.berlet (talk) 16:29, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Title

Abelmoschus Esculentus has manually merged the talk pages but should have linked to the source Talk:Kapya John Kaoma in the edit summary for attribution per Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. I'm doing it in this edit instead. Chip.berlet made a disallowed cut-and-paste move from Kapya Kaoma to Kapya John Kaoma 25 July 2018‎. The correct procedure would have been a move. Cullen328 moved back over the old name 26 August 2018‎ but deleted the old page history in the process. The correct procedure would have been a history merge to preserve the page history for attribution. I have restored the old page history. No further action is needed now. That's what the article says. Like Bill Clinton says his name is William Jefferson Clinton, and Nelson Mandela says his name was Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. When enough sources like [1], [2] and [3] use Kapya Kaoma, that can become the WP:COMMONNAME. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 16:32, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
