Prevention of an edit war edit

To all editors on this page @Vincent60030, information (regardless of how CRITICAL ARE THEY) without citation cannot be tolerated. As for the rolling stock status section, there isn't a citation that provides a verified source and hence shall be removed. @Vincent60030, until you can find a proper source from news site/ PRASARANA BERHAD or MOT of Malaysia, please do not make any changes.

Sincerely, Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 12:54, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Hypersonic man 11: Rolling stock status in this world is impossible to be verified. No operator in the world would do that. The closest thing to have is from the website source I have provided. I find it counterproductive to remove all of this information when you could have helped to find sources for some of them to, which I currently do not have the time. Even then, you should be aware that Prasarana or MOT are primary sources, not secondary. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 13:12, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Since there isn't a proper source, just leave it empty for now. Thank you Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 13:20, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
That is not the right way imo. Content should not be taken down like that. Rail enthusiasts run the website to observe and track down these trainsets independently. They are not paid, and they are third party. It is verifiable. Not everything should be defined as original research or not verifiable just because you don't see it. Unless you expect rail enthusiasts who are also Wikipedians to upload every month images of each train being seen which is unreasonable and unrealistic. This is Wikipedia, not a MRT fanpage. Know your direction. Enthusiasts aren't proper source. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 13:46, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is Wikipedia. Therefore, the public should learn to know that trainsets will affect part of their lives since public transport is so important. I do not agree that such information should be shortened especially when the tables can be collapsible. Trainsets can keep line maintenance accountable and the public can learn to know more that way. It also gives clearer examples of how trainsets work. To say that enthusiasts are just a biased source is not fair just because a fact for a trainset seems literally the same as an opinion. Do you think all of these content creators such as Mike Horne and J E Connor are definitely not rail enthusiasts? Their focus are on the aspects of architecture and history, not fleet.
If you want to talk about notability, it should be included. Especially when the situation now also cites that Malaysia is having a shortage of operable train fleet. I understand your concern but I do not agree. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 13:51, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
It is already considerate of me not to edit every single detail of each trainset into this encyclopedia. That I admit is a mouthful of detail. But there is no harm to include such basic information. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 13:54, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
