Multiple issues, including Neutral Point of View, Advertising, Conflict of Interest, Original Research.

  • It glosses over Jeffre's primary claim to notoriety: His participation in the corporate boy band 98 Degrees. (NPOV) Without that, he is arguably a non-notable person.
  • It contains five references to the Cincinnati Beacon, a blog operated by Jeffre's friend, who is also the primary author of this entry. Ergo, conflict-of-interest.
  • It contains at least six links to Cincinnati Beacon articles. Certainly self-promotion. Possibly advertising. Also, possibly, original research.
  • Reporting on Jeffre's political activities does not meet the NPOV standard.
  • The Cincinnati Beacon does not have a print edition. This is either outdated or inaccurate.

This line keeps appearing, though I keep deleting it:

= This time, 11.9% of ballots cast included a vote for Jeffre, and his candidacy put the Southwest Ohio Green Party on the ballot. Jeffre's online web-magazine, The Cincinnati Bacon, has alleged voter fraud. =

I fail to understand what a story on the web site written by someone who is not Jeffre has any relevance here. Why not talk about how that site has also written about corn hole? The story about the votes did not pertain to Jeffre's candidacy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.102.110.22 (talk) 23:06, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The biography on this page comes directly from Justin Jeffre, and is on his web page: justinjeffre.com

His page has no copyright over the bio. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deanofcincinnati (talkcontribs) 14:44, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

There are all kinds of calls for citations in the bio section, but they are supported by external links at the bottom, and by Justin's own web page as I stated above. -The Dean —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deanofcincinnati (talkcontribs) 23:23, 21 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Redirection edit

I've re-directed the page to the 98 Degrees page. I felt that it looked like somewhat of a vanity article; a search for sources didn't come up with anything really meaty enough to expand it, and per WP:MUSIC, being part of one hit band does not mean one should have their own article; it should instead be re-directed to the main band's page. If someone disputes this, feel free to revert my change. I may put the article up for a deletion discussion if it is, but mostly for the purpose of seeing what the community would think on the matter. Nomader (talk) 00:40, 13 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
