Political membership edit
The article claims Besteiro joined the Partido Radical and, later, the Agrupación Socialista Madrileña. But, did he leave the Radical Party first or what? The article isn't clear in this point. MJGR 11:03, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

As it is preferable to omit facts rather than including misleading information, I have deleted the following statement - until it can be confirmed with a citation - from the paragraph beginning "With the news of the fall of Barcelona ...":
