It's far from the only problem with this article (and I don't have the dedication to do the complete overhaul that would be needed to fix it), but the Amuro and Char fan-wanking needs to go. Char wasn't clearly "second only to Amuro" in CCA; he was piloting what was at the time the most powerful mobile suit ever made. The Sazabi's official stats show it to be superior in every measurable way to Amuro's Nu Gundam. It's faster, has a higher reactor output, and is more powerfully armed. Despite that, Amuro basically took Char to school. Likewise, Amuro's feats in the movie had at least as much to do with the technology at his disposal as with his Newtype power. The reason why CCA is the first time Amuro is able to use a psycommu system is it's the first time he's piloted a mobile suit that has one! Likewise, he's able to create a beam barrier not because he's the strongest Newtype ever (which is at the very least open to debate) but because the Nu Gundam was specifically designed with that ability. That's a tribute to Amuro's often-overlooked engineering talent (he designed the Nu Gundam himself), not to his Newtype power.
