Page lacks sources edit

The entire page for José Vicente Cuadra reads more like an obituary than an honest biography. Only one in-text citation is given, from Nicaragua's Ministry of Education website, and the whole thing is suspiciously positive. There are also weird lines like, "The biggest failure of his administration was the inability to deal with the Miskito tribal nation in the eastern region of Nicaragua." What does this mean? There is no context for why he would have to "deal with" the Miskito. One possible answer is this: the Wikipedia page on the Miskito mentions a conflict between them and Hondurans, saying that one of those parties enslaved people, but that section is not clear on who was taking slaves, and the source for it is one book by an American archeologist, Ephraim George Squier, who seemed to have been motivated to make the Mosquito Coast look dire to discourage English claims to it.

It seems to me like the only source this article uses isn't even reliable, and there should at least be some kind of notice declaring that. 2604:3D08:5A7B:9E00:A1CF:100A:709E:44F (talk) 22:24, 19 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
