In keeping with the suggestion currently attached to the page, I propose this is taken down due to lack of notability of the subject. I initially created the page in relation to the existing Grizzly Folk page, but now wonder if it's entirely necessary. Coffeebody (talk) 20:48, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Don't lose heart. It can be frustrating when you have carefully researched an article and then some editor wanders by and slaps a Notability or other warning template on your work, but it's not personal or an attack on either you or your subject. They are not stating that the subject is not notable, they are just asking for evidence. Chances are they don't know much about traditional music, and won't have a feeling about the importance of the subject, so what they want to see is some detail on how the subject meets the notability criteria for musicians (WP:NMG). In this case that will mostly be about finding references in significant publications, which include not only newspapers but also major publications in the genre. I would expect a set of reviews for the new album to be published shortly, which will be useful.
Also, they really don't like statements about the future, because WP is an encyclopedia, not a promotional tool. The date for the new album will be in the past real soon now, so that will be OK. Re: the future tour with Martin Carthy, could you add some info for example how it came about, that could ground that sentence in the past? HTH Monxton (talk) 03:25, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
