Recent edits edit

I'm concerned re: recent edits by PPRGkrosnick (talk · contribs), which, though well meaning, appears to be a conflict of interest account. I've removed some insufficiently sourced content, mostly about academic programs with which the account is affiliated. Probably there's a lot more here that could be trimmed as well. 76.248.149.47 (talk) 22:32, 19 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Close paraphrasing edit

Please see WP:Close paraphrasing which gives tips on how to rewrite the section. Also the section will have to be taken out in a day or so if the tag stays, because of policy. Sorry, I don't have time to rewrite the stuff; but even if the section goes, you can always put it back once you have a better paraphrase. Churn and change (talk) 23:39, 19 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Date of publication of https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=119958 is 2000-09-06 edit

Here's where I got the year 2000 from, for my edit in oldid 829754082:

Unfortunately, The Psychology of Voting by Lee Dye says "Sept. 6" and gives no year. The URL is uninformative too, but an examination of the page source gives useful metadata, notably

s_omni.pageName = "abcn|sec_technology|||20000906|119958|story|dyehard000906"; //content name

where I'm taking both 000906 and 20000906 to be 2000-09-06. --Mathieu ottawa (talk) 17:10, 10 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
