I purchased a suit at a good will in Ohio near the Dayton area about 4 years ago and only recently did I try it on as I bought it as an incentive to lose weight (bad idea, I know, however I lost the weight for other reasons anyway). The tags inside say The American Designer John Weitz and on the opposite side, Shillito's and underneath the Shillito's in smaller lettering of a different font it says New Haven Shop. The l in the label for the suit is no where near as tall as in the department store logo on this wiki, however it is very similar in design. Does anyone know if Shillito's ever sold John Weitz suits or had possibly a short lived mens department that would have used the name New Haven Shop with shorter ls in the Shillito's logo photos for reference of the suit (worn by myself) as well as the labeks inside. to This update would also pertain to the John Weitz wiki as well since his wiki doesn't mention branding as 'The American Designer John Weitz' either, Just 'John Weitz Inc'.
