According to an Indiegogo campaign to raise money to help John fight cancer, "John Jennings died peacefully last night held by his beloved Tamara and a few who were proxy for all who knew and loved him. He will be sorely missed. Gratitude to everyone who knew him as well as those he never met who sent prayers, flowers, dollars, hope and most of all kindness to him as he bravely dealt with cancer these past eighteen months.
