List of things I couldn't verify edit

Here's a list of things I couldn't verify, but someone else might know where to find it:

  • her father was archdeacon of Warrington
  • During the Second World War and having been bombed out of her own house in Putney, she and Townshend, together with Margaret Aldrich Rope, moved to a large house in North Wales which she ran as a home for children evacuated from Fulham and Liverpool.
    • I found this: At some stage around 1926, she moved to 61 Deodar Road, Putney (also occupied by Caroline Townshend and Joan Howson, who moved there in 1926). Later, in World War II, she moved to 81 Deodar Road but this was bombed. During the war, Tor assisted Townshend & Howson at three hospitals for evacuated children in North Wales, then moved to Storrington , Sussex.
    • But it's a personal page - I'm going to see if the person has some published sources on this.
  • Howson died at her cottage in Wales on the 10th June 1964.
  • A regular staff of three craftsmen was employed and others taken on for large commissions. One of the partnership's most important commissions, begun in 1933 and continued after 1945, was the repair of the fourteenth century windows of New College, Oxford.--CaroleHenson (talk) 06:02, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Added update about WWII - will see if there's anything published from the personal site owner.--CaroleHenson (talk) 06:31, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
