Growing up in Baltimore

"Claybrook grew up in the 1930s in Baltimore"

She was less than 3 years old when the 30's ended. Did she "grow up" in the 40's in Baltimore, or did her family move in 1940?

DOT Safety Car

One of the most important things that Ms. Claybrook did a decade ago was to push for the manufacture of the "D.O.T. Safety Car" which was designed so that the driver could hit a stone wall at 60 mph, yet walk away from the crash. This should be mentioned in this article. rumjal 15:09, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Backward motorcycle

Someone that knows more about the facts than I do should add a section about her infamous backward motorcycle design. She had a "safe" motorcycle designed and built, at great expense to taxpayers, and against all non-bureaucratic advice and common sense. It ended up needing training wheels because no one that tried to ride it could keep it from falling over.

There are many stories about it, but I see no obvious official sources.
