This is madness. Yesterday I had an editor removing edits I added due to copyright infringement. Now I have re-written the text and someone else removes the content alleging the material provided doesn't have a reference.

Hi Jim1138

Can you please advise:-

  • what info exactly is unsourced (have you looked at the sources provided)?
  • why are you removing references from the content?

Hi again Jim,

Thanks for your latest message (on the page for my current IP address) and it's empathetic tone re this article. I don't pretend for one moment to be perfect and I am as capable as anyone else of making a mistake. If I may humbly say so though, I am trying to be constructive here. I hope that if you look to see the article was only a stub 48 hours ago with only an intro, the content I have since added using a diverse range of sources I hope is reasonable evidence of my constructive intent. If you feel there is any specific way I can further improve the article then I am happy to work with you. I'd be grateful though for specific comments rather than wholesale slash and burn of info that is provided with sourced info.

Very best wishes.

Scotland v Scottish League trial match

I have been emailed a press cutting of a news report of this match. Can anyone tell me if there is a way I can attach that to the article without breaching copyright?
