Interestingly, Wyman did not agree with the model. After initial discussions, he actually even removed his name from the draft Monod sent him for comment. However, it was reinstated by Monod before submission. Also only Monod and Changeux travelled to Cambridge to meet the editors of J Mol Biol and defend the publication of the paper. There is a description of the whole story in a proceeding of a conference on allosteric enzymes. NicGambarde (talk) 15:02, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
