User:Jakec has reverted all of the edits I’ve made to this article, as shown here. In the interest of fostering discussion and consensus, here are several examples of the numerous issues with this article, all of which I addressed with my edits:

Summary: The facts stated and cited here only apply to tunnel A, rather than the entire five tunnel system, save for the last sentence. It is stated that “The tunnel is five miles (eight kilometers) long and was constructed between 1891 and 1894, and at the time of its construction, was reputed to be the largest mine drainage tunnel in the world..” The next sentence states “It consists of major tunnels A and B, and minor tunnels C, D and X.” There are two problems here: First, these tunnels were not all constructed between those two dates (as is stated in the History section). A reader not familiar with the subject might interpret this wording as meaning that all five tunnels were finished by 1894, which is incorrect. Second, neither tunnel A, nor the entire system, is five miles long. The “five miles” wording is from a source dated 1907, a time when more than just tunnel A likely existed but certainly not yet tunnels C, D or X, as these were constructed between 1926 and 1934.

Description: The actual length of the entire tunnel system, including all five tunnels, is about 9 miles, and is available from source #1, Mendinsky, but is not stated anywhere in this section. The sentence beginning “The tunnel is about 5 miles long…” is from another source dated 1907, and while true at that time, is incorrect now for the same reasons stated above. This sentence is also repetitive as this is already stated in the Summary. “Watershed” is misspelled “watershd”. Links to several communities in the Description section are improperly formatted. The pages for many of these do not yet exist, but should be formatted using “Pennsylvania” rather than “PA”. In discussing flow rates, the usage of the word “drain” is incorrect. The cited source states that the tunnel “…drains four major coal basins covering nearly 33 square miles and averaging 40,000 gallons per minute or 60 million gallons per day.” The tunnel thus discharges, not drains, those flow rates. This section should also contain descriptions of all five tunnels, including their lengths and tunnel connections, but does not.

Hydrology: Sentences should not begin with a numeral, as several do referring to the percentages describing the tunnel’s discharge. This is per WP:Manual_of_Style

History: The text describing the lengths of the tunnels and the location of each tunnel’s endpoints most appropriately belongs in the Description. Only the dates when each was completed should be in History. The word “vain” should be “vein”. In describing the tunnels added to the original tunnel A, the word “beginning” is used three times. "Beginning" is an arbitrary word, and should not be used to describe a tunnel's endpoints. Either endpoint could be the beginning.

Environmental impact, media impact and controversies: The sentence stating two people were killed in the tunnel on Feb 5, 1894 should be in the History section.

Reducing tunnel discharge: “One of these methods is to seal fissures, cave-ins, and sinkholes in the Jeddo Tunnel watershed.” Where? On the surface or subsurface? “Diverting runoff from the hills around the coal basins near the Jeddo Tunnel is another method of reducing the tunnel's discharge, and this could reduce the discharge by 10%.” Divert it where?

The following verifiable facts which I added have also been lost due to the reversion, and do not currently exist anywhere in the article:
A more precise size of the area drained by the tunnel is available from the SRBC source I added: 32.24 square miles.
The names of the four major coal basins drained by the tunnel: Big Black Creek, Little Black Creek, Cross Creek and Hazleton: I added them from an SRBC source which is also now missing.
The tunnel is the largest source of nonpoint source pollution in the Little Nescopeck Creek watershed. I added this from source #3, Executive Summary.
The tunnel’s original builder is the Jeddo Mining Company. I added this from source #2, Saving the Bay.
The link “deep-mining” in the History section links to a WP page that does not exist. I linked it to Underground mining (soft rock)

If my edits have removed relevant content, as User:Jakec has alleged in the edit summary, please cite specific examples. In editing this article, I moved quite a bit of information around to clean it up, and at first glance the differences between revisions looks like I removed large swaths of material when I actually just moved it. No article is perfectly referenced, and additional citations are never redundant.
