Page Protection

edit

I would like to place the current edits under full protection until the previous edits are cited and verified. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.38.134.185 (talk) 02:46, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Why not wait until you have citations before you add information? We don't usually protect pages in order to protect unsourced information. Pburka (talk) 03:11, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Just sour grapes from this editor who knows absolutely that he is correct (and may even be so), and therefore is not required to follow standard Wikipedia policies such as those on verifiability, reliable sources and original research. His contention here and here are to the effect that he, as the "world expert" on the subject, should be exempt from these requirements. Beyond My Ken (talk) 04:01, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Since when is it acceptable to edit-war, and then request full protection without even trying dispute resolution? Epicgenius (talk) 00:19, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
