editThe Guinness Book 1990 says he was 7 ft 7.
- What category? He has never been the World's tallest; and I doubt you're referring to the Icelandic edition either, as they use metric units. At least I didn't see him on the Finnish edition of that year.
--The 1989-1990 hard cover Guinness Book of World Records included a list of well known sideshow giants whose heights have been commercially exaggerated. Johann was among these, and was billed at 8'8", but the Guinness claims to have independent medical records that he was actually 7'7".--70.59.155.91 21:44, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
