Objection to deletion

Winning the JWOC means competing at the highest level and therefore qualifies WP:ATHLETE, the PROD also does not make sence. JWOC is the Highest Junior competition in the Orienteering world. ARBAY (talk) 12:31, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

But as the World Orienteering Championships are higher, it may unfortunately fail policy. The policy is unreasonable im my opinion but unfortunately it does exist. Anonymous101 (talk) 13:08, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Based on the references provided since my deletion proposal, it seems Ivan is notable on general grounds, if not WP:ATHLETE. I'm satisfied as to his notability. G'job! RayAYang (talk) 16:46, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
