Actually, he was born in Braşov, which is in modern day Romania, and he represented Romania at football before Hungary. GiantSnowman 18:09, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Sorry GiantsSnowman, but the Unsigned user has right. Gyula Bodola was Hungarian and he used the native name. No, I've never been to either Romania or Hungary. And although the Hungarian form may be 'Gyula Bodola', this is the English-language Wikipedia, and we should therefore use the English-language form, which is widely accepted to be 'Iuliu Bodola', as shown by both FIFA and RSSSF. The place where you die is no indication of nationality. For example, Sándor Kocsis died in Spain; does that then make him Spanish rather than Hungarian? GiantSnowman 21:17, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
