Copy edit edit

I have just completed a copy edit of this article for the GOCE's May 2015 drive. Please let me know if I botched any of the science. I don't think I did, but all the same. Eman235/talk 23:31, 31 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Physiology edit

Most of the information on physiology and adaptations presented here is general and applies to most salamanders, if not most amphibians. I suggest to move that information to another place (e.g. Salamander) and keep here only the parts really relevant for T. carnifex – its physiology could probably be resumed in one paragraph. Go ahead! I noticed that when copyediting. More information on its habitat and behavior would be useful. Eman235/talk 18:28, 4 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes. This arcticles is about salamandres, but not about T. carnifex. --OJJ (talk) 16:14, 5 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I've finally reduced the article heavily. Problems were: too technical and detailed; many parts do not apply to this species in particular; there was lots of repetition. I've tried to keep only the parts relevant to the Italian crested newt, moved some parts to Newt, and deleted the rest. The remainder still needs some editing.
