Given Fisanovich's war record, I would assume that he was awarded the Navy Cross (third highest U.S. military award) for courageous action in defense of Soviet bound U.S. convoys while operating in the western Barents Sea.Федоров (talk) 02:50, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
