editAyn Rand consciously "owed an intellectual debt" only to one person, and that was Aristotle. You are confusing's Rand's view of who influenced her philosophy (Aristotle alone) with her view of history and other intellectual issues. Rand wrote on a lot more than just philosophy. See, for example, her work on economics, Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal. Obviously Rand didn't make up the idea of free markets herself, and she didn't get these ideas from Aristotle either. 69.43.128.132 23:42, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
