Talk:Iollas

In this article, the author frequently describes the theory of Iollas poisoning Alexander the Great as 'absurd' and 'inconsistant.' As the illegitimacy of this theory has not been proven, these opinionated words should be removed in favor of a more balanced explination of the theories surrounding Alexander the Great's death and Iollas's potential role in it.

The article's basically imported from William Smith's 1867 dictionary, so I suppose that reflects Smith's opinions about the theory. Should probably be reworded to attribute these opinions to Smith, and ideally add what more recent scholars think about it. I don't know anything about this literature myself, though. --Delirium (talk) 22:40, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
