I can find this sentence: "Illogic began in the Columbus, Ohio hip hop scene when at the young age of 16 he claimed the 1996 Columbus Hip Hop Expo MC battle, surrounded by what would come to be the core of the emerging "bustown" sound" and this sentence or a variant: "Years later Illogic has shared the stage with Rakim, Casual, Psalm One, Atmosphere, Eyedea, Brother Ali, The Roots, Common, One Be Lo, Modill, Royce Da 5'9', and many other nationally recognized acts" in various places on the Internet, but here's a halfway reliable source that says this, including other direct quotes that were previously used in this article HERE: http://events.detroit.cbslocal.com.eventful.com/detroit_mi/events/illogic-zero-star-selfsays-anonymous-dj-melwon-/E0-001-049222663-7
