• Sampling/interpolating other people's tracks is a common practice, so I don't see anything unique/interesting about Eminem doing so here, especially when it isn't the first time he's done so in his career. That hook was intended as an April Fools' joke, I was trying to suggest that Harry Houdini makes use of abracadabra - hooks on that day have a little more license to violate WP:EGG. I just watched the video, and what actually happened was a little less dramatic: ref #4, which is what I'm using, says "downing a glass of wine and eating the glass". I've amended the article to that effect.--Launchballer 12:24, 13 June 2024 (UTC)

@Launchballer and SNUGGUMS: I have a bit of a problem with the hook. Perhaps something like, "...Blaine drank a glass of wine, then ate the glass it was in?" or, "...Blaine ate a wine glass?" "Ate a wine glass" is better per WP:DYKTRIM. For pshaw, the hook would therefore be ALT1a: ... that Eminem promoted "Houdini" with a video in which David Blaine ate a wine glass? (Incidentally, if WP:DYKFICTION wasn't a thing, I'd be proposing something like "what Eminem, his children, his manager, Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, and "you" have in common" as "how salamanders cross the road" is the most successful hook so far this month.)--Launchballer 17:09, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Reception seem strangely slanted to negative

YouTube views aren't an indicator of reception, and you're incorrectly assuming that everybody who watched the video likes it and the song. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 11:56, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

Yes, but it did get 3.3m likes in 12 days (as of time writing this). That is very big for any artist to receive in such little time. It's safe to say it was very well received. AustinVD (talk) 14:43, 13 June 2024 (UTC)

What happened to genre part of infobox?

Simple, it was removed due to a lack of sourcing. Nobody who added genres prior to this edit gave anything to back them up with. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 13:34, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
