Merger with Hong Kong Football Club
editFor anyone considering a merger of this page with the above page, please bear in mind that Hong Kong Football Club (other page) is a sporting club encompassing rugby, hockey, bowls, squash, tennis, et al - as well as soccer.
The soccer team play under the club name, and this page is mainly intended for this team only - details such as manager and team strip etc, apply only to them and not to other sporting teams in the club, or the club as a whole.Tyke abroad (talk) 13:58, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
The title is very confusing, it is not suitable to divide association football and other section in the present ways.--Antonytse (talk) 12:17, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Ambiguity
editThe Football Club is a sports club encompassing rugby, soccer, hockey, bowling, tennis, squash, and various other sports. This article would mislead a reader into thinking that it is solely a football (soccer) club as a) it is in a football category; b) the strip shown only applies to the soccer section of the club; and c) all league info, etc also applies to the soccer section only. Should this page be enlarged to contain info about the whole sports club, or separated into a general club page and a soccer section page? Tyke abroad (talk) 09:03, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
