Talk:History of Czechoslovakia (1948–1989)

Title edit

I think "History of Czechoslovakia (1948–1989)" is better because, in this case, WP:UCN trumps WP:PRECISION, as this formulation is simpler, more elegant, and there's no risk of confusing it with something else. Biruitorul 01:52, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Two articles on the same topic edit

Why is this a separate article from Czechoslovak Socialist Republic? Yes, I know the name of the country was officially changed in 1960, but the main political, social and economic structures remained the same throughout the 1948-1989 period. And the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic article does indeed cover that entire period. There is no reason to have this separate article, especially since it is almost entirely unreferenced. -- Amerul (talk) 04:52, 28 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Minimal citations and possible plagiarism edit

The entire section on "Ethnic groups" lacks any citations whatsoever and several sections have quotations with no source. Is there any reason to keep this section if nothing written in can be clearly referenced or believed to be reliable? I suggest the section be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Greyscaleminions (talkcontribs) 22:18, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
