FORMER prez of womens union edit
Yami is NO LONGER a prez of the maobadi women's union. She hasnt been so for nearly 10 years.
She WAS that during the late 1990s. Followed by Rekha Sharma, who was imprisoned in 2002, I believe. Elected as new prez in 2003 was Jayapuri Gharti. She was REelected on 18 sep 2006.
Hisila Yami is an outsider candidate to the presidency of Nepal - or its constitutional assembly - next year, however.
