The last sentence of the fourth paragraph in this article says:
"Later, the stone was ground to powder and the revelations purportedly received through it were burned."
According to John P. Walker, in Dale Morgan on Early Mormonism, on page 13, while Dale was at the RLDS library in 1947, he and RLDS library research assistant S.A. Burgess, "examined the Hiram Page seerstone"
So maybe the stone was not destroyed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:2548:B200:FD8A:7930:4D6B:E66D (talk) 17:50, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

Is there any evidence that Page was excommunicated?
editThis page is in the category "People excommunicated by the Church of Christ (Latter Day Saints)" but there appears to be no evidence that Page was actually excommunicated. At the time of the revelation/seerstone kerfuffle, he agreed to cease his revelations and was not otherwise disciplined. When he left the church in 1838, no action seems to have been taken against him. There is no mention of it on the Joseph Smith Papers biographical entry for him. And in the thesis "Hiram Page: An Historical and Sociological Analysis of an Early Mormon Prototype" the author states explicitly that there is no such evidence (p. 57). --RockRockOn (talk) 01:48, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
