Until/Unless David Garrett resigns from Parliament Hilary is just another failed political candidate. I'm not going to prod it or anything but not sure it meets WP:POLITICIAN....yet. Mattlore (talk) 04:01, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
With the benefit of hindsight, I concur. What happened is that I saw this edit, and given that it came from an experienced editor, I concluded that Calvert would become an MP by default. I've since seen in the media that Garrett has resigned from ACT, but not from Parliament (yet, as you say). Hence I agree with your 'jumping the gun' comment.
If somebody does PROD the article in the meantime, would an acceptable approach be to move it into userspace? Schwede66 04:14, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I think I've made a similar mistake in the past - it is easy to do. I think a move to a userspace would be an appropriate solution if it came up - the article incubator might even apply. Not sure about that though. Lets worry about it only if it occurs :D Mattlore (talk) 05:23, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Phew. Garrett has now resigned from Parliament. Schwede66 03:10, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
