- Not quite. Read the second paragraph of Geography of Canada. Further, only land and the internal waters and territorial waters are part of Nunavut (and maybe the Exclusive Economic Zone too; see Map Canada political-geo.png). I believe all other waters claimed by Canada are federal, not territorial, including those extending to the North Pole. I'm no expert in this field, so it'd be best to investigate this.
