L-G in Infobox and Succession Box edit
The infobox does not give his status as L-G of BC, and there is no succession box for BC L-G, either. I'm messy with infoboxes/succession boxes, if someone handy/familiar iwth them can adjust/add, please do so.Skookum1 (talk) 02:50, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
BC section more than a bit terse edit
This: Prime Minister Laurier appointed him Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia in 1900; he served until 1906. needs a fair bit of expansion; these were turbulent times in BC, he had brought in because of the excesses and constitutionally unruly behaviour of his predecessor, and was brought in as an outsider with no stake in local matters, I don't have the books handy or the time available to cite and research this properly; see Joseph Martin (Canadian politician) and the article on Robert McInnes linked in the infobox for more; in 1903 the political party system was brought in for the first time, also.Skookum1 (talk) 19:33, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
