When was the tower built and how tall is it? (<-- unsigned comment made by User:Jonkas1001 on 6 February 2007)

Built: late 80s (de:Fernsehturm Hegyhátsál) is the best date I have at present

Height: 117 m (at 248 m above sea level) according to [1] -- effective (height above average terrain) 143 m according to [2].

Have not incorporated any of this info as yet as the article is in serious need of a stylistic re-write: the word "tower" is used seven times in the second sentence!! -- Picapica (talk) 11:00, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
