editHaxhi Lleshi (1913–1998)
Haxhi Lleshi was the son of Halit Lleshi (1882–1923), another recognized man in Albanian history, and Halit is the brother of Pellumb, Osman and of course Aqif Lleshi (1890–1983). Haxhi came from a family that stayed close and were very much into politics. Their is a great book on all this information about Haxhi and the rest of his brave relatives, including meny pictures and even the Lleshi family tree. The name of the book is -Jeta dhe Veprimtaria e Aqif Lleshit-, by Moisi Murra. Although the book is in Albanian a good english translation would satisfy many readers wondering who this man was and how his family was so powerful. If you know Albanian this is a great book and I recommend it. 172.163.131.40 00:57, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
CIA: Yugoslavian informant
editThe reference to the claim that Haxhi Lleshi was a Yugoslav informant[4] redirects to an error page. We should use citation from the CIA FOIA (freedom of jnformation act) page. If no credible source is given than we are just posting rumors. I have heard accounts contradicting this claim so I would like some clarity one way or the other. But I ask that the sentence claiming that 'Haxhi Lleshi was a spy' be taken down until it is cleared up.
