Talk:Hall v Durham Catholic School Board

Article title edit

Should be renamed to Marc Hall v. Durham Catholic School Board, as it is the focus of the article; the information on Marc Hall himself is scarce, as it is of no particular relevance, since Hall is not notable apart from his involvement in this case. Renamed as suggested - hope that's OK... GregorB (talk) 23:18, 9 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Case withdrawn? edit

It appears that the case was later withdrawn after the injunction was set.[1] Might be worth mentioning. — Io Katai ᵀᵃˡᵏ 01:10, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Error in Describing Injunction edit

The article states that the order by Mr. Justice McKinnon prevented the respondent school board from cancelling the prom. That is not true:

The defendants have undertaken to the court not to cancel the prom in the event that I granted the plaintiff's request [for] relief and I accordingly make no further order.

Can someone please confirm my reading of the decision? — B.Sc-bound (talk) 06:38, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
