My Grandfather William Thomas George WILLIAMS Stoker P/233214 was a crew member on E15, he was taken prisoner and died in captivity 4th. February 1917. My name is Derek WILLIAMS (E-Mail) derek.williams36@btinternet.com
My grandfather William Alfred Drake served as stoker aboard the picket boat from HMS Triumph that was despatched to destroy E15. Awarded the DSM, he joined the submarine service after HMS Triumph was sunk, and was sole survivor of G9, sunk in error by HMS Pasley on 16th September 1917. andrew.brookes@port.ac.uk
