Did Bligh take 200 troops alongside HMS Defiance at Spithead? edit

Italic textThe crew of the Defiance mutinied for a second time in 1797 during the Spithead mutiny. Captain William Bligh of the Calcutta was ordered to embark 200 troops and take them alongside in order for the troops to board Defiance and regain control, however the threat of the soldiers was sufficient to bring about an end to the mutiny.Italic text This can't be correct, because Bligh left Calcutta 7Jan 1796 to command HMS Director. Either it was Director that carried the troops or Calcutta had a different captain, or the troops were brought alongside during the 1795 mutiny. 92.3.131.184 (talk) 23:16, 6 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
