Installed power.
editThe sidebar indicates that the 6,200 HP engines are tied to 3.3 KW alternators, which is patently ridiculous from several standpoints, right up to and including that a standard 3.3 KW motor-alternator set up is easily portable by two men.
The sidebar indicates that the engines develop over 4,200 KW of mechanical power, indicating that 3.3 MEGAwatts would likely be the true value.
I have traced the fault back to the reference:
and contact is being initiated with the Trust for clarification.
the search string: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Installed+power+HMS+Challenger+K-07&t=ffab&ia=web
fails to turn up more information in the first 100 or so citations.
