HMS ARIADNE Last Commanding Officer
editHMS ARIADNE last Commanding Officer I have been trying to add my name as the last commanding officer of HMS Ariadne, but my change keeps getting reverted by a couple of editors. Is there any reason for this? The change is minor and as I see entirely in keeping with the provision of information relevant to the subject. Banjolupo (talk) 13:51, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
- As pointed out in the initial reversion edit summary see WP:SHIPSNOTCREWS. He's just another non notable bod who served on the ship Lyndaship (talk) 15:18, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
- That clears it up. Banjolupo (talk) 14:47, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- BTW you serve "in" a ship not "on" a ship. Banjolupo (talk) 14:48, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

A 500,000 mile deployment ?
editSeems unlikely that this warship sailed half a million miles in 6 months … that’s a speed of 114 knots per hour 24/7 over 182 days ? 2A02:C7C:D0DC:1300:F4B8:6FE2:AC46:F66F (talk) 22:28, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
