From 1874-1833, after decommissioning as a warship and passing to Shaftesbury, she would have flown the Red or Blue Ensign (rather than White); contemporary photos show a dark flag. I suspect that it was the Blue, as she was loaned from the Admiralty rather than sold. Can anyone confirm? Davidships (talk) 15:54, 1 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
