Guilford Lake, Ohio → Guilford, Ohio – The name of this community seems to be Guilford, vice Guilford Lake (named for the nearby lake). - Comment The community (if that is the right name) seems to be based around the perimeter of the lake with access to a large number of jetties that seem to me of similar number than the number of buildings. map. I would like to see evidence to say that people would say things like "I'm going to Guilford" rather than "I'm going to Gulford Lake". The lake seems to be the focus of the surrounding development.
