Plot edit

The plot section is a joke.Chvsanchez (talk) 22:02, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Quite likely. I note that Sir Rhosis has recently fixed the problem. I suspect that the film the pre-revised plot section actually went with was George of the Jungle. BPK (talk) 14:44, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
"He protects and shows love toward his adopted "mother", "father" and siblings. He loses one of them to a bunch of natives where he kills one of them." This sounds as if the original writer was trying to avoid the dreaded "spoiler." It is later stated that it was Tarzan's ape mother that was killed, so the subterfuge is useless as well as ill-advised. WHPratt (talk) 13:34, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Robert Towne's participation edit

I was told before the Graystoke movie was made (by several people close to the film) that Robert Towne had sold his rights to the Graystoke screen play so he could make the movie Personal Best. He had originally planned to film Personal Best at the Moscow Olympics - but this all fell apart when the Carter administration boycotted the games.
