Year of death

edit

I am sure that he died in 1963 in Bhagalpur and i was a high school student in the same city at that time. --Bhadani (talk) 02:38, 26 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

This also records the year of death as 1963. --Bhadani (talk) 02:40, 26 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Please see this also: [1] - this also states the year of death as 1913. However, there is some ambiguity about his year of birth though 1913 is considered correct. --Bhadani (talk) 02:45, 26 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
And, this too: [2]. I think these are sufficient :) --Bhadani (talk) 02:46, 26 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

If he died in 1963, he can't join BHU as a professor in 1986 ! Shree (talk) 06:28, 12 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Two persons?

edit

I believe this biography has combined details from the lives of two persons: a poet who lived from 1911-1963 and a sociologist who lived from 1926 to at least the 1980s. The lede mainly talks about the former, while the "Academics" section talks of the latter although there is intermixing of biographical details.

Does anyone have access to non-snippet views of the cited sources, the Sahitya akademi biography of the poet, or any other source that would help resolve this? Abecedare (talk) 01:39, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please remove the Academics portion, as it is wrongly entered in the eminent literary figure of Hindi literature, viz. Gopal Singh Nepali (1911-1963). The second person is a little known person in India. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vkjoshi123 (talkcontribs) 09:58, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
