WIKI versus publicity edit

He is real and well-known in DK. But yes, releases within Wikipedia are outside the dictionary scope. I am a colleague of him who just enjoyed the nice layout and the good music. So it feels like a dilemma. Maybe there is already a legal place where you may do your homepage as Wiki - ??

Literally Goodiepal's act *is* growling (more often whistling) and moving planets around. So the tone marker about the page is misguided. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dunxd (talkcontribs) 20:01, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Who is this guy? I mean, this smells totally like a comedy scam. The more i read about this "Goodiepal" guy, the more I'm convinced his a big comedy scam. I don't think hes a real living person, just take a look at his picture, who on earth would have a beard like that? Besides, hes supposed doings that you can read about around the Internet, seems totally like a big joke. 212.242.137.107 (talk) 23:30, 26 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Given the language used, length, structure (much like a CV) and major contributions from single-purpose accounts/unregistered users I suspect a conflict of interest in this article.--Thelle Kristensen 19:02, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

This guy doesn't seem noteable enough for such an extensive Wikipedia page, and he seems to be using it for self promotion. 84.238.83.36 (talk) 10:54, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Definitely needs cleanupReply

He's definitely real, I've met him but he's now "released" his new album via the page. Bit cheeky, huh? 86.186.38.78 (talk) 17:11, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

DJ Audio $var's as a "selected audio" no? edit

We could add the above file to intro side column? Text mdnp (talk) 07:40, 25 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

'Selected works'/'External links' could do with some updates/additions? edit

Example: Begin copy:

The Goodiepal Equation

2019 saw the Fonal release of a documentary and accompanying soundtrack "The Goodiepal Equation". Available on USB and "on demand" streaming services. Fonal Records founder Sami Sänpäkkilä constructs this packet of "super-snappidagg" techno-folk-rock delights, & radical computer music intrigue, of Goodiepal touring via various methods & having his "living animal" shoes repaired; with all the hyper-accompanying social realist critique & on the ground "living lectures" given in modern-day Europe & Serbia's parapolitical situation. Goodiepal and GP&PLS have gone near silent since this release (circa 2019-2020).

Hello. I fixed the DIscogs link you had added. As to the other suggestions above, Wikipedia does not attempt to document or provide links to every part of the subject's web presence or provide readers with a handy list of all social networking sites. See WP:ELMINOFFICIAL. Ubuweb is a site full of stolen material, and Facebook is social media. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 13:09, 4 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
