Age of Stupid

edit

This company features heavily in the climate change film The Age of Stupid Should this be mentioned —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wakeyjamie (talkcontribs) 19:03, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I saw a picture of a Go Air airliner in pink "Go Air" colors. Do they come in any other colors, or is pink just it?

edit

Yes, It use to come in Pink color earlier. Infact, I quite remember that as the Vice President Marketing, it was a challenge ensuring the pink color remains vibrant always.

Fair use rationale for Image:Goair.gif

edit

Image:Goair.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:18, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

==GoAir destinations==ℳℳℳℳℳ₨₧№ЮМљЉ

Dear LeoFrank, I have created a new article on GoAir destinations, there I had previously deleted the destinations table from the main GoAir article, but forgot to link the new article with the main one (I should have added

tag in the place of destinations table. Now it seems you have merged my new article (which I have edited as per the new Wikipedia WP:Airlines standards) with the main one. Will you please consider to get back the GoAir destinations as a separate article by doing your most recent edits undone.- M.soumen

Hello I will be reviewing this article. Seems short overall but broad in its coverage. I will go through and make some minor grammatical corrections. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 00:58, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Lead and infobox

edit
Good, looks like you used the CAPA profile as a reference. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

History

edit
  • I realise GoAir was launched in 2005 but perhaps this section could be expanded. Information about why the airline was launched, first flights, important new destinations, major expansions, major announcements etc. I see some interesting articles here. But I like the info about GoAir's strategy. Y
Excellent - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Corporate affairs and livery

edit
  • Examples of the colours used perhaps? Y
Good - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • "new grey colour scheme for the new aircraft" - Specify. Does this mean all new aircraft will get the gray scheme? And what new aircraft? Y

Destinations

edit
  • I see this article talks about their interest in launching international destinations. Y

Fleet and new orders

edit
  • "GoAir received its first A320neo on 1 June 2016." - No ref Y
Good - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Awards

edit
  • Perhaps some elaboration on the awards and their significance. For example, what does "Best performing airline" mean? Y
Good - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

References

edit
  • Ref 17 has issues. Y
Good - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • This is minor, but I notice in the "publisher" section of the refs you write "Go Air" rather than "GoAir". Y
Good - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • References for information in the article that is unlikely to change (e.g. the history section) could be archived, so you don't have to worry about their going dead in the future. (Might be, but dead urls are often flagged by bots and corrections can be done if necessary.Magentic Manifestations (talk) 14:37, 5 June 2016 (UTC))Reply
Ok - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Other

edit
  • More information about their frequent flyer programme? Y
You say the programme was discontinued (also need a ref for that), so shouldn't it be removed from the infobox? Also make the info about the programme past tense. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Gave a thought to it. It seems like the programme does not exist any more as the website does not work and nothing is listed on Go Air website. A source says new membership was discontinued in 2014. So, have removed it from infobox as well.Magentic Manifestations (talk) 18:09, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I will pass the article now. Thanks for your efforts improving the Indian airline articles - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 23:19, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Once that is done I will be able to pass the article. - ✈Sunnya343✈ (talk) 16:52, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
