According to an e-mail I received from Gerda Hnatyshyn's secretary (at The Hnatyshyn Foundation) on 7 May 2015, "both her parents and grandparents were Danish", which I read to say that she had no Norwegian ancestry. I contacted her in connection with my work as administrator of Slektshistoriewiki, the Norwegian Genealogy Wiki (as I originally thought she was of Norwegian descent). So the category "Canadian people of Norwegian descent" should perhaps be deleted from the article? Dag T. Hoelseth (talk) 19:39, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
