Year of birth

Relationship to JPY

Guitar George?

A post on the "Songfacts" website about the Dire Straits song "Sultans of Swing" claimed that Young is the source of Mark Knopfler's reference to "Guitar George" and that "Harry" in the song (who "doesn't mind if he doesn't make the scene") refers to Vanda. Scottish-born Australian

Him, and his younger brothers Malcolm and Angus are Australian citizens, but they still Scottish-born. They may didn't hold Scottish nationality no more, but they were Scottish-born. I'm not affirming that they are Scottish-Australians, because if they were, they would hold dual nationality, but they don't. Scottish-born Australians are not the same as Scottish-Australians, because they don't hold dual citizenship. G. Picanço (talk) 18:54, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
