Buying books for Thomas Jefferson in 1815 edit

Mark Dimunation, rare books librarian at the Library of Congress, in his lecture at the Rare Books School in Virginia, states Thomas Jefferson, after selling his 6000+ library to re-establish the Library of Congress, proceeds to ask a young George Ticknor, to buy books for him, as Ticknor journeys to Europe in 1815. 2601:280:CA80:8970:D079:22E7:C96F:FF20 (talk) 10:59, 9 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
