Kukla is an interesting man. He has written a number of articles and was quoted in many news stories about climate. He is one of the few researchers still living who was quoted by Time Magazine in the famous "Coming Ice Age" story back in the 1970s. Please help improve the article. "global warming (understood as area-weighted average global mean temperature)." Shouldn't that be "an increase of"? Going to add it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.110.134.134 (talk) 21:57, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

The reference at the end of the second sentence is circular (http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/financialpost/comment/story.html?id=bdc24964-7f82-4f7a-863c-f0ff43010278&p=1; Pierrelambert.

Some scientific discussion attributable to George Kukla on the "natural" versus "man-made" contribution of the recent global warming trend points to the predominance of a "man-made" contribution, as a 1981 New York Times article mentioning his work read: "New evidence that supports the theory that carbon dioxide pollution is causing a potentially dangerous warming of the earth's climate has been detected by scientists at Columbia University" [1].(Pierrelambert (talk) 01:14, 25 April 2011 (UTC))Reply
