Tone of the article and unsubstantiated claims
editThere are some issues with the general tone of the article which could be viewed as subjective. E.g. the assertion of "path-breaking research" without giving any indication of what the subject of the research is / was. Also the section "Known for" contains the subjects: Fuzzy logic, General systems theory, Generalized Information Theory, Interval computations. This could be misleading. In the article on Fuzzy logic there is no mention of Klir, in particular not as an inventor of Fuzzy logic. The same holds true for the article on General systems theory.
Suggestion for improvement: Remove the assertion "path-breaking research" and insert references to published articles by Klir which may be considered the most important and state clearly which results are obtained in these works and why they are notable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.182.155.15 (talk) 13:34, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
